Compensation We Offer

  •  The initial compensation for this position ranges from $145,464.38 - $178,902.84 per year.
  •  Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations.
  •  The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted.

JOB SUMMARY

Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. Provides regional leadership and effectively manages multiple clinical programs.  Assures regulatory requirements are met.  Researches, reviews and implements best practice principles.  Develops and manages program budgets, assesses opportunities for program growth and potential funding sources.  Interfaces with external community partners, agencies and county departments. This position is direct oversight of 24/7 crisis programs.  These programs provide both crisis response and stabilization services to individuals experiencing psychiatric emergencies.  The population consists of indivduals that are eith are or being asseed for 5150 criteria.  He position oversees 24/7 staffing patterns and programs that are required by contract to provide service 24 hours a day, every day.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Oversees management of direct service crisis programs, assessing for strengths and needs. 

2. In concert with the outcome and evaluation department, analyzes outcomes for improvement opportunities.  

3. Participates in the identification of outcome measures related to acute psychiatric crisis. 

4. Negotiates and develops program proposals, negotiates and monitors performance to program and outside agency contracts. 

5. Resolves issues with outside agency customers. This can include law enforcement agencies, educational settings, shelters and community clinics. 

6. Develops service programming utilizing best practices.  

7. Facilitates integration of staff efforts at all levels within programs and support teams.  

8. Assesses, evaluates and manages risk.

9. Manages and assures continuous development of the Director, Associate Director, CPM, and Program Supervisor management skills.

10. Manages projects and service processes to develop and implement improvements in quality and efficiency.

11. Ensures compliance with agency policies, procedures and strategic initiatives.

12. Collaborates with leadership to ensure the implementation of the agency’s vision and mission.

13. Applies legal and ethical standards of Board of Behavior Sciences (BBS) licensing board in completion of work.

14. Applies legal and ethical standards of the Welfare and Institution Code 5150, 5558, and 5250

15. Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned.
