The Capability & Education Center Team is instrumental in creating a talent pipeline and continuous learning platform for Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) functions across PepsiCo Beverage North America (PBNA) Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations. The Food Safety & Quality Capabilities Senior Manager will partner in the continued development of sustainable, world-class education programs critical to growing the Food Safety & Quality technical bench to position the Organization for future growth through education programs.

 

This Food Safety & Quality Capabilities Senior Manager role will focus heavily on development of curricula specific to end-to-end Dairy & Expanded Platform Innvoation manufacturing (ingredient, processing, distribution, and innovation). Target audiences for Dairy & Expanded Platform Innovation capability curricula will include internal and external Bottling operations as well as PBNA Sector Teams. Deployment strategies will include new Bottler on-boarding, innovation launch support, and continuous education programs.

 

A successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge acquired through 5+years’ experience in the Dairy Manufacturing industry. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate a strong aptitude for developing complex and strategic plans aimed at ensuring flawless execution of Food Safety & Quality standards within the Capability optimization objectives. This individual will possess a passion for developing robust processes and education programs to reinforce an unwavering Food Safety & Quality culture.

 

This individual must be able to commute to one of our PepsiCo HQ Offices- Plano, TX, Chicago, IL or Purchase, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Protect PepsiCo Trademark and ensure product Food Safety & Quality through a rigorous Field Capability program

  • Deliver world-class FSQ Capability curricula for Field Teams, spanning multiple functions and Organizational levels:

    • Leverage a challenger mindset to continually evaluate and enhance existing FSQ capability curricula offerings

    • Partner cross-functionally to enhance and integrate FSQ content in Center of Excellence (COE) Capability platforms

    • Implement participant-based training strategy for FSQ Capability curricula offerings

      • Training content tailored for multiple levels of the Organization

      • Digital platforms and mobile accessibility principles to drive participant utilization and impact

  • Development of Dairy & Expanded Platform Innovation Capability curriculum:

    • Leveraging internal and external SME’s and certification pathways for benchmarking

    • Collaborating with Dairy & Innovation Project Teams to support project deployment timelines, commercialization transition, and Operational Excellence sustainment

    • Incorporating PEP Manufacturing & Food Safety/Quality standards with Regulatory Requirements as Foundational Knowledge scope for Dairy & Innovation Platform Capability curricula

  • Develop, monitor, and govern Capability program attendance and effectiveness of all curriculum modules, classes, and programs

  • Develop and monitor the multi-year FSQ Capability Glide Path that identifies KPIs and sequence of activities required to achieve Glide Path goals and timelines

  • Development of FSQ Capability Learning Management System digital platform. Critical workstream to drive Field Governance and Compliance, digital enablement, and data analytics enhancement for Key Stakeholders

  • Create socialization and commercialization tools for FSQ Capability function

  • Collaborate with cross-functional SME and COE teams in development of comprehensive training curriculum for Field Teams

  • Coach and train plant personnel to develop leadership, technical competence, and effective utilization of system tools

  • Drive Food Safety & Quality initiative through support of Sector FSQ Teams who have responsibility for directly working with producing plants and distribution warehouses

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
