Essential Job Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Manage daily operations for all MBA programs, including FT MBA, Online PT MBA, Executive MBA, and Enterprise MBA, ensuring a high-level of customized service to students and faculty.
- Serve as the main administrative contact for the MBA programs, collaborating with faculty on course development and preparation, managing logistics, and supporting the student experience.
- Assist the MBA Program Directors in improving short-term service delivery while contributing to the long-term strategic planning of the MBA portfolio.
- Regularly communicate with professors and students regarding course logistics and program updates; collect and distribute course materials in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate academic records and files for all MBA students, and curriculum development, course content, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with Academic Affairs to provide accurate scheduling for all programs.
- Support and monitor updates for MBA-related web pages, ensuring accuracy and relevance across programs.
- Design and execute signature MBA events such as Preterm, Kickoff (orientation), welcome dinners, and networking events.
- Administer student surveys and work with the MBA Program Directors to implement program improvements based on feedback.
- Work closely with faculty teaching in the MBA Programs to ensure effective course execution and alignment with student needs.
- Coordinate academic registration and advising and provide high-touch support to Enterprise MBA students throughout their program journey.
- May supervise OPE staff and/or student workers.
Admissions & Recruiting:
- Partner with the Office of Graduate Admissions team to coordinate operational activities for all MBA programs.
- Assist in managing prospect and applicant data and communication plans in application management system (Slate); support timely communication and successful application completion.
- Support day-to-day operations of recruitment and outreach efforts, including yield activities and on-boarding of newly admitted students.
- Prepare and deliver reports related to applications, class profiles, and admissions progress.
- Represent the MBA programs at recruitment fairs, information sessions, and yield events as needed.
- Facilitate a smooth transition from admitted to enrolled student, including orientation programming and engagement activities.
Key Executions:
- Outstanding customer service to prospective and current students, faculty, and alumni across all MBA formats.
- Efficient and effective program operations and management.
- Timely, data-informed reporting and communication across teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of related work experience, ideally in higher education or program management.
- Experience working with graduate students and online program delivery is a plus.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and website maintenance.
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service values and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
While main hours are generally 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, regular, consistent participation in evening and weekend events is required. This position is located at the 101 Howard campus in downtown San Francisco, but travel is required to the School of Management’s main campus and corporate client offices occasionally for meetings and events.
