Title: Sr. Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst 

Location: Remote in these US locations: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, KY, IA, ID, IL, IN, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI 

Role Description: 

We are seeking a Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst to join our high performing and growing Accounting & Finance team. The position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. ShipBob has an incredible growth journey in front of us and these roles will be instrumental in setting up and executing processes and efficiencies that scale.   

What you'll do:

• Aid the AP Lead and Global AP Manager in providing accuracy to the accounts payable function.  
• Maintain the daily operations and growth/development with other AP Analysts. 
• Support accounts payable policies, procedures and controls including designing the accounts payable metrics, SLA, Intercompany processes, and reconciliations. 
• Ensure invoices are accurately coded, posted and processed in a timely manner. 
• Respond to and resolve vendor A/P inquiries. 
• Contact vendors and internal departments to resolve invoices or payment discrepancies. 
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements as needed. 
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments for autopay invoices. 
• Handle the collection of overdue vendor balances to ensure optimal cash flow. 
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build new processes, resolve issues, and streamline invoice processing. 
• Ensure that documentation for all payables is complete and accurate. 
• Support monthly Accounts Payable accrual process as needed. 
• Perform other related duties and special projects as required. 
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles. 
• Other duties/responsibilities as necessary. 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

• 5+ years of experience in an A/P position. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills. 
• Solid communication and organization skills. 
• Must be flexible, conscientious, adapt easily, and be motivated by constant change. 
• Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. 
• Ability to work well with a team but can manage their workload independently. 
• Experience with NetSuite, Zip, Chrome River, preferred. 
• Experience in CSV creation and upload will be preferred. 
• Ability to work well with a multicultural team. 
• Solid analytical skills, and process improvement/automation focus. 
• Detail-oriented and can multitask.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $53,627 - $89,378.
