Join Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA, a Level 1 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital, where you’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians and credentialed technicians caring for high-acuity patients while growing your skills in emergency medicine.

Compensation

$17–$21/hour, based on experience and skills

Schedule
Choose the schedule that works best for you:

Three 12-hour shifts per week (one weekend shift required)
Four 9-hour shifts per week (one weekend shift required)
Five 8-hour shifts per week (no weekends)

Full-time opportunity with multiple scheduling options available.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment
Laundry, dishes, and animal husbandry (cleaning kennels, walking, and feeding patients)
Provide safe and compassionate restraint during patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostics

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous animal handling experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical or emergency veterinary environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Team-focused, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn
Ability to safely restrain dogs and cats of varying sizes
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
