Join Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA, a Level 1 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital, where you’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians and credentialed technicians caring for high-acuity patients while growing your skills in emergency medicine.
Compensation
- $17–$21/hour, based on experience and skills
Choose the schedule that works best for you:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (one weekend shift required)
- Four 9-hour shifts per week (one weekend shift required)
- Five 8-hour shifts per week (no weekends)

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment
- Laundry, dishes, and animal husbandry (cleaning kennels, walking, and feeding patients)
- Provide safe and compassionate restraint during patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostics
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous animal handling experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical or emergency veterinary environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Team-focused, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn
- Ability to safely restrain dogs and cats of varying sizes
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
