Join Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA, a Level 1 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital, where you’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians and credentialed technicians caring for high-acuity patients while growing your skills in emergency medicine.

Compensation

  • $17–$21/hour, based on experience and skills
Schedule
Choose the schedule that works best for you:
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (one weekend shift required)
  • Four 9-hour shifts per week (one weekend shift required)
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week (no weekends)
Full-time opportunity with multiple scheduling options available.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment
  • Laundry, dishes, and animal husbandry (cleaning kennels, walking, and feeding patients)
  • Provide safe and compassionate restraint during patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostics
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous animal handling experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical or emergency veterinary environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team-focused, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn
  • Ability to safely restrain dogs and cats of varying sizes
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
