Job summary:

The Warehouse Manager holds a pivotal leadership position overseeing the entirety of warehouse operations. This encompasses the strategic management of inventory, the precise coordination of shipping and receiving activities, and the effective supervision of warehouse personnel. A key responsibility involves the implementation and enforcement of stringent safety protocols and productivity benchmarks. Furthermore, the role necessitates a proactive approach to optimizing the warehouse's physical infrastructure and ensuring meticulous adherence to all pertinent regulatory frameworks. Notably, the Warehouse Manager and their team are also accountable for the compliant transportation and systematic sorting of diverse waste and recycling streams originating from all lodge facilities.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $68,640.00 - $77,951.78 + annual bonus
  • Employment Type: Year Round (11-month)
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Housing Availability: Yes

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Besides supervising staff, the warehouse manager is responsible for several material and equipment-related distribution procedures. 
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.
  • Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Safely transport and process the various waste and recycling streams from each lodge

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
  • 4 years industry experience in leadership roles
  • State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
  • Experience managing safety procedures and giving safety training
  • Experience operating a forklift
