About the Role

The Recruiting & Learning Product Manager supplies a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our Recruiting, Talent & Learning products. Our Product Managers are encouraged to follow Recruiting & Learning industry trends and the technology landscape and use these inputs to define a product vision, strategy and roadmap.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • We look for Product Managers who understand that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the team contributing their ideas. This role collaborates closely with product design, architects and business partners to discover the most impactful solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions.

  • You are someone who can operate as a designer of both business processes and technical requirements, and can ensure implemented solutions deliver incredible experiences.

  • You will contribute to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to build outstanding experiences for our most important asset – our Workmates- to help us achieve our goal of accelerating Workday’s business growth.

  • While we empower our product teams to identify the best solutions to problems that need to be solved, we also hold those teams accountable to the results. Shipping is vital, but not sufficient, we need a product leader who is not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they have to work through others to achieve key results.

  • This job is an individual contributor role. You will need to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, internal customers, and key executives, through your use of data and logic.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years working on technology-powered products as a Product Manager

  • 4+ years of product owner experience or working closely with product managers to translate customer and market needs into product deliverables through the entire product life cycle

  • 3+ years of experience leading Workday Recruiting and Workday Learning implementations

Other Qualifications:

  • Proven understanding of modern product discovery and product delivery techniques and agile methods.

  • Strong ability to understand and interpret data to develop hypothesis, define experiments to prove (or disprove)

  • Ability to determine solutions to hard problems with many constraints, assess risks, and lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.

  • Shown ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, strategy, etc.

  • Consistent record of engaging with engineers, architects, designers, and compan
