What you do:

The AIM Governance, Risk, and Compliance (“GRC”) senior analyst role, reporting to the AIM Chief Compliance Officer, which supports senior team members in administering Allianz Investment Management’s compliance and risk activities.   It requires deep knowledge of investment advisor compliance and risk disciplines. 

 

This role supports multiple compliance and risk activities across multiple programs.  This senior analyst role will administer various core compliance activities (such as code of ethics and portfolio compliance monitoring) as well as perform control testing and monitoring.      

 

  • Perform core GRC functions under the direction of senior team members.
  • Administer core compliance activities (e.g., code of ethics administration and portfolio administration).
  • Perform GRC testing and monitoring activities (e.g., electronic communications monitoring; testing support).
  • Support compliance program activities including regulatory change management, policy administration, compliance risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
  • Support various risk management and governance activities including projects, risk assessments, reporting, corporate policies, client IMAs/IPS reviews, and counterparty requests for organizational information.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

 

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of relevant investment management experience; compliance and risk experience preferred and/or data/systems background
  • Four degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, financial engineering or related data/systems background or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate credible and adequate knowledge of investment adviser compliance and risk management
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in such a way that they can be understood by people with a wide variety of backgrounds, including non-technical backgrounds
  • Broad and effective communication skills to work with executives, third-parties, managers and front-line employees through various verbal and written formats.
  • Programming and database management experience preferred
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.

 

Base Salary Range: $57,000 - $114,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
