This position is essential for the day-to-day completion of inspections. Physical Demands & Work Environment:• Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear; body motions and movements include bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing • Lifting and/or moving up to thirty-five pounds regularly on average, and up to seventy-five pounds on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation • This job is located in Florida, with exposure to intense sun, intense heat, humidity, rain, thunderstorms, and other adverse weather conditions • Job site conditions may or may not be accessible by vehicle and can include wetlands, swamps, grasslands, and fields with uneven surfaces, sand, brush, and other natural and man-made obstacles. • This job is primarily and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and construction sites where the noise level is usually moderate to loud

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Structural Building Inspection duties (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing as licensed). Inspect residential and commercial buildings, which are under construction or are being repaired, remodeled or enlarged and is performed during various stages of completion to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes/ordinances.
- Determines whether changes may be required in plans and makes recommendations to contractors, engineers, architects, etc.
- Performs inspections of foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction work
- Maintains accurate, complete, and current inspection records.
- Exercises tact and courtesy when conducting inspections and dealing with clients.
- Prepare reports and report data in a complete, timely and understandable fashion and return as required to branch office. Complete daily time and labor reports in accordance with company policy
- Oversee maintenance of company vehicle (take in to shop for routine maintenance including oil changes, tire pressure, fluid levels, etc.)
- Cellular phones are to be worn at all times and calls are to be returned immediately.
- Ensure that project requirements are met and compliant with inspection specifications, requirements and company policies or procedures.
- Attend all department meetings.
- Drive to various job sites at locations both locally and throughout the State of Florida. Follow all Driving Laws when driving company vehicle.
- Work varying shift schedules as needed.
- Must be willing to travel within the state of Florida, if applicable
