IT Field Technician I

Big Brand Tire is Big on Fast and Big on Friendly and we are seeking an IT Field Technician to join our team as we gear up for our next wave of planned M&A activity. This role requires frequent travel, as you will be responsible for getting our new stores’ network installed as well as hardware and point of sale systems set up.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. When you are not assigned to an active M&A integration, you will work alongside our support team to provide IT Helpdesk assistance to our employees, ensuring their technology needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and installation of Network Devices(Firewalls, Switches, Access Points), POS Systems, Computers, Credit Card Readers, VOIP Phones, Printers, Tablets, Scanners, Cameras, and TV's
- Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote support, and in-person.
- Responding to tickets through our ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, POS systems, voip phones, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and software applications.
- Set up and configure new user accounts and equipment.
- Perform desktop administration tasks across hundreds of devices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- IT equipment inventory management, accurately submit and complete inventories and reporting.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Manage and support our AV Conference Rooms.
- Work alongside other IT Technicians or independently during projects or field maintenance projects
Must have:
- Ability to work in our corporate headquarters in Moorpark, CA
- Availability to travel to other states to integrate newly acquired service centers, duration of travel time away from home of 2 weeks per project.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a truck and tow a 16ft trailer if needed.
- Ability to use a ladder, stand for long periods, crawl, and lift at least 50 lbs.
