Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Financial Accountant / Accounting for investments.
You can look forward to
- You manage investments in accordance with commercial and international accounting standards
- You are in contact with our asset manager Ampega and the interface to internal departments - especially the Investment & Collateral Management and Coordination International Operations team
- You will be responsible for the accounting assessment of investment products and prepare accounting notes (HGB and IFRS)
- You have the opportunity to work on various projects
You come equipped with
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or mathematics, preferably with a focus on finance, or commercial training with a focus on accounting/auditing
- At least two years of professional experience in finance and accounting, (balance sheet) accounting or asset management at an insurance company or auditing firm
- Basic understanding of the various accounting regulations, e.g. HGB, IFRS and knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Independent user skills in German and Englisch
- Analytical skills paired with an international mindset and willingness to travel occasionally, once or twice a year (within Germany)
