As our Specialist HR IT Controlling & Data Protection (all genders), you will be responsible for the IT Controlling of Global HR, as well as consulting on data protection requirements for HR in the Beiersdorf AG. 


Your Tasks

  • Managing budgets, ongoing forecasts and business plans for operational and capitalizable expenditures of the HR digitalization initiatives. Responsibility for monitoring the HR-IT budget of Beiersdorf AG Headquarters.
  • Supporting digital leaders in setting and achieving proper goals, schedules, analyses, and corrective actions. Providing comprehensive financial updates to our senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
  • Identifying and analyzing critical developments, managing risks and opportunities. Initiating and implementing measures to increase efficiency, governance, as well as their monitoring.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional projects, planning project costs based on agile software development methods.
  • Which system landscape can you expect: SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, ServiceNow & Aconso (in implementation), SAP BW4HANA, Power BI

 

In addition, as the Data Protection specialist, you will be:

  • Representing data protection requirements in HR digitalization projects and implement compliance in the global HR transformation.
  • Serving as the central point of contact for the HR organization on current data protection issues, as well as identifying and assessing data protection risks. You will advise on prevention, detection, monitoring and reporting of data privacy violations.
  • Liaising with the Center of Excellence for Data Protection on processes and systems in Germany and Europe.
  • Acting as a promoter for a culture of data protection across all units in the HR organization.
  • Independently reviewing and documenting data protection issues and requests, as well as reviewing and monitoring of the implementation of audit results.
  • Preparing material for data protection trainings for employees and management, as well as conducting such trainings.

Your Profile

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to structure and detail
  • Self-confident in communications on all levels, able to express information appropriate for target audiences
  • Fluent English and German communication skills (spoken and written), further languages are welcome
  • Very good team player with intercultural competence
  • University degree in business administration, economics, law, computer science or comparable degree
  • Working experience in data protection (ideally in an HR context)
  • Knowhow and willingness to learn more about (technical) setups and systems to assess from budget and data protection point of view
  • Very good handling of common MS Office applications, especially Excel (for example Pivot) and PowerPoint
  • In your previous activities, you were able to convince with a good balance of structure and pragmatism
