- Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.
- By May 22, 2024, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).
Summary
This internship will give the intern valuable, real-world experience, as well as provide support to the Audit Services team. The intern will gain exposure to various functions within Audit Services and participate in projects to support initiatives. Interns work on an array of projects to assist the team:
Responsibilities

Assisting with audit projects and control testing with support from Senior Auditors

Collaborating with Audit Services Team to identify and analyze risks and evaluate controls

Conducting various administrative tasks for the Audit Services Team

Working individually on projects assigned

Undertaking research on various business issues
Knowledge & Skills
Strong planning and project management skills, including prioritization and time management
Display a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work collaboratively in both a team atmosphere and independently
Ability to interface with all levels of staff, including senior management, and external vendors
Ability to maintain composure and flexibility under pressure
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to respectfully handle highly confidential information
Education
Must be pursuing a Bachelor-level degree specializing in accounting/business, statistics, administration, engineering, economics or other related disciplines
Experience
Must possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
