Role
Trail of Bits is searching for a Senior Manager, People Operations to elevate our People function and ensure it's deeply integrated with our strategic vision. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking individual who nurtures a remote-first company culture and drives initiatives that support team growth and development.
This position is both strategic and tactical, with an emphasis on strong skills in day-to-day implementation and maintenance of our people systems, handbooks, and operational processes.
You'll be responsible for executing and refining our existing frameworks, as well as designing new strategies. Your expertise in maintaining documentation, administering our HR and Talent platforms, and implementing incremental improvements will be crucial to success.
What You’ll Achieve
- Lead critical People Operations projects from inception to implementation, including process optimizations, policy updates, and new program launches that support our technical teams and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage and develop our existing People Operations team members, providing mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities while ensuring alignment with departmental goals and company values.
- Drive the adoption of people-centric initiatives that nurture a welcoming and inclusive culture in alignment with our core values. This includes developing a continuous performance management model and strategically implementing learning platforms.
- Ensure the utmost integrity and confidentiality of our People data, maintain compliance with global standards, and foster an environment of trust. This includes meticulously managing documentation and strategically analyzing and reporting data for informed decision-making.
- Champion AI integration across the organization by identifying opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence tools for workflow automation, document creation, and operational efficiencies that benefit both the People team and cross-functional departments.

- Demonstrated ability to execute tactical HR initiatives such as benefit enrollment periods, performance review cycles, and compensation adjustments with precision and excellent communication.
- Experience in People functions, with a deep understanding of how to implement thoughtful improvements to existing People practices that complement our technical, transparent work environment.
