We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team! You’ll be responsible for managing all activities and controlling costs for chili, vegetable, onion and garlic warehousing and inventory operations within Turlock and remote warehousing locations at Livingston and Merced totaling more than 500,000 square feet, as well as liaise with plant management at our Livingston and Merced operations for product movement in and out of their facilities/warehouses.  You’ll be responsible for the management and oversight of scheduling, establishing, and maintaining all operational policies and procedures relating to the above areas.  You’ll oversee the general maintenance, sanitation and safety for all warehouse locations.  In addition to the above area specific responsibilities, this position includes management of the Turlock facility forklift and yard truck equipment preventative maintenance program as well as our forklift/yard truck safety and operation training requirements and the management of our interplant, outside processing and contracted production trucking force.

What you’ll do:  

• Manage and oversee proper and efficient use of manpower, equipment, supplies and space to meet warehousing needs for all SNI sites while maintaining a safe working environment 
• Enforce all policies and procedures. Update and write new policies as needed
• Work with Planning and Accounting to ensure accuracy of inventory and transactions for warehouse operations across sites. Manage, analyze and report KPI’s
•  Manage and facilitates 100% quarterly cycle counting of physical inventory as well as periodic physical inventories with internal and external auditors.  Analyzes status of counts and applies priority changes and/or resource allocation to ensure counts are completed on time
• Balance inventory products and levels at all SNI facilities while maintaining storage. Maintain all equipment needed by the department and as well as vendor contracts

What you’ll bring: 

• Two to four years of warehousing experience with a minimum of two or more years of related supervisory experience, preferably in a food-manufacturing environment
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and organizational procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to learn and use computer business applications especially in the area of inventory control.  In addition, applicant must have ability to learn mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as relational database concepts
• Ability to collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, safety personnel, maintenance, other facility managers, customer service personnel, truck drivers, freight forwarders, suppliers, vendors, dispatchers, H.R. personnel, and facility management staff to ensure the efficient and professional operation of responsible areas during all shifts

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California. 

The salary range for this position is $104,300 - $173,850.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer
