Associate Partner Manager - Entry Level

Assists Partner Business Manager in managing all aspects of existing and new supplier relationships, strategies and product life cycles.  Coordinates tasks and priority associated with new and updated product introductions with the Product Data Entry Specialist.  Evaluates and manages pricing information to ensure accurate pricing and product margin.  Provides recommendations on supplier and product expansion and rationalization.  Research new opportunities and suppliers as directed. Manages all aspects of select suppliers, identifying opportunities, both strategic, product or marketing related. Works cross functionally with the Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality department on product management related projects and supplier reporting.  Supports strategies to achieve Product Management sales and profit margin goals. This is an entry-level position. Must be in the EST or CDT time zones.

What you'll do

• Assists as needed in the management of all tasks associated with new and updated product introductions, price increases and margin validation. 
• Researches new supplier opportunities based on strategic focus, customer demand, industry events, and conferences - as directed by Senior Manager
• Develops and refines needed communication and negotiating skills to influence new supplier relationships, achieve margin/discount requirements and present cooperative marketing strategies that mutually benefit the supplier and Fullscript
• Supports Senior Manager in maximizing overall productivity of portfolio
• Ownership of overall Fullscript relationship with select supplier partners, developing a positive rapport with each and reinforcing a results oriented, innovative, value add strategic partnership.
• Work cross functionally to manage and drive Product Management and supplier initiatives, including supplier reporting and assisting in monthly biz review development
• Develops and builds upon expertise in suppliers and/or product lines; is seen as an expert by others in the organization
• Prepares a variety of reports as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table

• Basic understanding of portfolio/supplier management and marketing
• Must possess strong communication skills to develop and present supplier and product line strategies with supporting analyses, and express ideas and results of research in a concise and clear manner.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with different levels of the organization, work cooperatively with Suppliers, Sales and Marketing, Quality and Medical Education, and Supply Chain teams.
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Must represent Fullscript with a high level of professionalism at trade shows and to the suppliers and customers.
• Must be self-motivated and goal oriented with ability to work independently.
• Must be proficient in standard Microsoft applications, with excellent skills in Excel and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and data interpretation
• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
• Education/Experience in Product Line management, Marketing, Finance and Data analysis
