Warehouse Lead

Company Description: Mountville Rubber Company is a custom rubber mixing business that provides internal and external customers with 45 million pounds of un-cured rubber across several industries from two manufacturing facilities in Lagrange, GA. Annual sales in 2023 totaled $60,000,000.

 

Job Description: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing inventory, chemical tanker offloading, shipping and receiving goods/products, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is accurately accounted for and stored properly
• Oversee the offloading and shipping processes for internal orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Plant 3 warehouse and Plant 4 warehouse and other departments

 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience in a warehouse or logistics environment required
• 2+ yrs experience operating a forklift
• Waste management experience and ERP is a plus!
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs

 

Working Conditions: In addition to office work, this position requires working in a manufacturing environment where personal protective equipment is necessary. 

Shift: 1st (Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM)

 

Compensation: Based upon qualifications, experience, and education. Pay rate can range from $25-$35/hr.
