Performs a variety of food preparation and service functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Sets up food service and kitchen area facilities, equipment and utensils, under detailed instruction and, in accordance with specific area needs.
Assists in the preparation of hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, simple bakery items, salad dressings, and/or other similar food items, as appropriate to the position.
Follows prescribed procedures in setting up hot and cold food lines.
Cleans, washes, and maintains sanitary work areas.
Interacts with customers to take orders, receive payments, and answer questions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
All student employees who work at Food Services will receive a free meal for every shift worked.
