Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required to ensure a strong foundation for success in this role.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with Federal Government contracting.
• Thorough knowledge of FAR, U.S. GAAP, and DCAA compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
• Experience with Unanet, QuickBooks, and ADP Workforce Now or similar systems.

Position Responsibilities:  As a Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, playing a critical role in steering our fiscal success.  Your responsibilities will include:

General Accounting Support:

1. Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and tax functions.

Audit and Compliance:

1. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to contract specifications and financial regulations.
2. Support the year-end financial audit.

Payroll Oversight:

1. Oversee and support the payroll process.

Financial Analysis:

1. Direct and oversee the preparation of financial analyses, including trending, variance analysis, and interpretations based on results.

System Migration Support:

1. Ability to support the migration of accounting systems to new platforms such as Unanet.

Contract and Subcontract Management:

1. Support Contract and Subcontract management, including tracking burn rates and project status.

Project Financial Monitoring:

1. Support and take responsibility for monitoring project financials, analyzing costs, and ensuring overall project profitability.
