The CT Corporation (CT) business unit is a part of the Wolters Kluwer Compliance division. CT is the global leader of legal entity management, corporate compliance and due diligence solutions.
The CT Product group is responsible for CT’s customer-facing products & services and for internal business capabilities needed to deliver the customer experience.
As the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic plan for multiple products, including both digital and services components.
You will be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle, as well as be a senior level people leader who is responsible for developing Product Management talent.
You will partner across the organization to execute strategic action plans for products that are aligned to CT-wide and Segment-specific goals. This role ensures that product offerings are clearly defined and drives decisions for enhancements.
In this role you will report to the Vice President, Product Management and work from one of our local offices in a hybrid work schedule (Two days in the office, three days from your remote home office).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of strategy, technical, and marketing aspects of all products in the portfolio.
Maintain close contact with the market (customers, competitors and trends) for awareness of current and future needs and for optimal positioning of CT products in the marketplace.
Clearly articulate a short- and long-term vision for each assigned product that supports CT-wide business goals and segment-specific strategies.
Communicate product plans with all levels of the organization, including maintaining Roadmaps to track progress.
Define product offerings, including scope of products and customer-facing SLAs.
Understand financial and operational performance of products; set measurable objectives and use KPIs for tracking.
Identify and prioritize product enhancements using best practices (contextual inquiry, win/loss reviews, usage analysis).
Create business cases that optimize product revenue and margin
Direct the production of requirements to address customer needs, including development documentation (Jobs to Be Done; Epics; User Stories)
Partner with New Product Development and CX teams to translate requirements into designs and development, including participation in Agile development processes.
Coordinate with Service, Fulfillment and other operational groups to maintain and improve delivery of services.
Oversee Product Marketing and other internal & external communications about assigned products.
Define and communicate value propositions to position products for key customer segments.
Develop an expert-level understanding of current and future-state customer and marketplace needs.
Regularly communicate vision, plans and results to all levels of stakeholders, coordinating cross-functionally in a fully matrixed team environment.
Train, coach and counsel Team for improved results. Set appropriate performance goals and drive accountability for achievement. Create development plans and contribute to Wolters Kluwer talent management initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
Preferred: MBA or JD preferred.
Experience:
Minimum Experience: At least 8 years of related experience with 5 years product management responsibility, OR equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
•10 years of product management experience, including:
• Development and launch of new and existing product lines.
• Demonstrated success running product line.
• Managing a team, including talent development and performance. management.
• Coordinating cross-functional groups to accomplish product and revenue objectives.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex projects in a large, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to create executive level strategic presentations.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Preferred:
• Experience with legal services or compliance preferred.
• Experience with digital transformation preferred.
