Collaboratively, we ensure effective management of our global suppliers so they deliver and improve on all parameters.</span><span> </span></p> <p><span>Please note:</span><span> This position requires a regular onsite presence </span><span>at least 3 days per week in our Nordborg office</span><span>.</span><span> </span></p> <h2><b>Job Responsibilities</b></h2> <p><span>As a Senior Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for a range of strategic procurement activities to ensure long-term supplier development, as you drive the procurement agenda in a global matrix organization.</span> <br/><span>In doing so, you will work across several global functions and serve as the vital link between supply chain and external suppliers.</span><span> </span></p> <p><span>Your key responsibilities will include:</span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span>Leading supplier relationships to drive capacity management discussions and delivery</span><span> </span></p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p><span>Being responsible for a number of suppliers, including handling contracts, price negotiations, and benchmarking activities</span><span> </span></p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p><span>Coordinating ramp-up and ramp-down activities for new and continuous improvement projects</span><span> </span></p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p><span>Completing Logistic Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers</span><span> </span></p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p><span>Supporting and occasionally leading cost reduction and other sourcing projects that improve cost, quality, and delivery from suppliers</span><span> </span></p> </li> </ul> <h2><b>Background &amp; Skills</b></h2> <p><span>We are seeking a skilled professional with a background in engineering, supply chain, logistics, or finance, combined with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. You have several years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, and bring a solid understanding of how to drive value through supplier collaboration and strategic sourcing.</span><span> </span></p> <p><span>We are looking for a strategic and proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
