Are you ready to take the next step in your construction career by supporting one of the most dynamic and fast-growing sectors in infrastructure? The Will Group is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Project Engineer/Coordinator to help drive the successful delivery of a large-scale data center construction project in Columbus, Ohio.
In this role, you’ll serve as a critical link between field operations, project management, and subcontractors—ensuring seamless coordination, clear communication, and efficient execution across all phases of the project.
What You’ll Do:

Support the Project Manager and field teams in planning, coordinating, and executing data center construction activities

Track and manage key project documentation, including schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement logs

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure technical and design compliance

Prepare and review drawings, specifications, work packages, and technical documentation

Assist with quality control, commissioning efforts, and timely submission of project deliverables

Conduct site walks and contribute to daily field reporting and issue tracking

Maintain organized project records, including permits, safety documentation, meeting minutes, and as-builts

Monitor subcontractor performance and adherence to scope, schedule, and safety standards

Use construction management platforms (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, BIM) to streamline workflows and documentation
What You Bring:

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of experience in construction, preferably on mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure projects

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in project management and construction software tools

A team-first attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Good Faith Salary Range: The annual starting salary for this position is between $110,000 to $120,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
