The Executive Compensation and Stock Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and administration of executive compensation programs, equity-based compensation plans, and compliance-related activities. This role involves collaboration with HR, finance, legal, and external advisors to ensure competitive, regulatory-compliant, and effective compensation strategies for executives and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Compensation
Support the design, implementation, and administration of executive compensation programs, including base salary, short-term incentives (STI), and long-term incentive (LTI) plans.
Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive executive pay structures.
Ownership in preparing compensation committee materials, analysis, and presentations.
Monitor and analyze trends, regulations, and best practices in executive compensation, including the requirements of the SEC, IRS, and other regulatory bodies.
Participate in the development of executive employment agreements and severance arrangements.
Stock Compensation
Manage the company’s equity compensation plans, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), performance shares, etc.
Ensure accurate grant processing, tracking, and reporting of equity awards.
Collaborate with finance, payroll, and tax teams to manage stock-based compensation accounting and tax reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in equity management systems.
Support employee communications regarding stock plan education and assistance.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with SEC, IRS, SOX, and other regulatory requirements related to executive and equity compensation.
Prepare equity compensation reports for internal and external stakeholders, including financial reporting, proxy statements, and 10-K filings.
Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with insider trading policies and Section 16 reporting requirements.
Analysis & Benchmarking
Conduct competitive market analyses and participate in compensation surveys to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Perform modeling and scenario analysis for various compensation plans.
Assist in preparing detailed compensation reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in executive compensation, stock administration, or a related field.
