Human Resources Generalist- Senior Living

The Human Resources Generalist will provide excellent customer service to staff in six Senior Living Centers located within CT and MA. Guide employees with instruction through systems, resources for resolving issues, and employee benefit administration including retirement plan. Under the Direction of the Sr. Director you are responsible for informing employees of benefit plans and changes. Answer questions and concerns related to employment, employee relations, and employee benefits, employee leaves, provide timely resources as needed. Please note this position is regional and will require 3 days of travel a week and 2 days remote work.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all routine benefit administration items such as new hire enrollments, changes, terminations and open enrollments.
- Assists employees with questions pertaining to HR policies, procedures and employee benefits.
- Provide problem resolution for all benefit issues with insurance carriers
- Communicates timely all payroll deductions to the payroll staff relative to benefits
- Reviewing monthly payroll deductions with each centers payroll staff
- Resolves employee issue with the benefit administrators, brokers and insurance and retirement providers
- Provide ongoing administrative and communication support for the HR and benefits teams
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2+ year's Human Resources experience and specialized in HR operations functions such as: benefit administration and employee leaves administration.
- Experience in Senior Care and/or Rehabilitation Services strongly preferred
- Travel is required to each center within Massachusetts and Connecticut on a regular basis. Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point, outlook)
- Working knowledge of Health and Welfare plans and regulations
