Director Quality

Summary:

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality visions, strategies, guidelines, processes, and systems to support and improve business performance. He or she leads and develops a team of quality professionals and works closely with internal and external stakeholders. In particular, the Director of Quality is responsible for the following tasks:

Essential Functions:

• Developing, implementing, and managing quality policies, processes, and systems to support global business objectives
• Developing and implementing a global quality strategy
• Developing global quality teams with a view to achieving global objectives in the functional area
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders globally to ensure that quality objectives are prioritized
• Promoting continuous improvement in quality in line with global alignment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering
• At least 15 years of experience in a management position in the field of quality and quality systems
• Extensive experience in a senior quality role with a proven track record in strategic quality management in a global industrial company, preferably in the automotive sector
• Six Sigma qualification, at least Black Belt
• Hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel extensively
