Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care.<p>We are looking to hire a <b>Registered Nurse </b>for our Caldwell and Nampa Medical Oncology Clinic!</p><div></div><div><p>As an <b><b>RN </b></b>in the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, you will provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers while promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness. You will administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs. RN's are also expected to serve as a mentor to clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and preserve confidential information.</p><p></p><p><b>Our ideal candidates</b> have the ability to make decisions and take action in stressful situations, while providing outstanding customer service. They must have excellent communication skills and must be a team player. A background in Oncology and/or Triage experience is preferred.</p><p></p><p><b>Schedule: </b> <span>4, 10 hours shifts, 7:30a - 6p (Wednesday's off)</span></p><p><span>Monday- Clinic </span></p><p><span>Tuesday, Thursday and Friday- Triage</span></p><p>This will be based primarily in our Nampa clinic location, though may need to float to Caldwell for on site triage coverage.</p><p></p><p><b>General Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.</span><br/> </p></li></ul><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span><span><span><span>License/Certification:      </span></span></span></span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.</span></p></li><li>Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.</li><li>All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date.</li><li><p><span>Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b></b></h2><ul><li><p>Meets health system's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations. </p></li><li><p>Demonstrates skilled technical nursing care under the direction of a provider or RN.</p></li><li><p>Performs and documents comprehensive physical and psychological assessments.</p></li><li><p>Educates patients based on assessment of needs</p></li><li><p>Assists provider with <span><span>diagnostic/therapeutic</span></span> procedures, assuring in a safe, clean, competent manner/environment. Assists with patient assessment in coordination with a licensed provider.</p></li><li><p>Maintains a clean, safe, well-stocked nursing area, including patient examination room.</p></li><li><p>Maintains a complete, accurate, and legible patient medical record.</p></li><li><p>Obtains continuing education to maintain clinical expertise and RN clinical ladder.</p></li><li><p>Prepares, administers and evaluates the effectiveness of medications.</p></li><li><p>Provides clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions.</p></li><li><p>Assists provider with examinations and treatments.</p></li><li><p>Administers oral, rectal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and Z-Track medications.  Intravenous medications after I.V. course.  Allergens administered only under the direction of a provider.</p></li><li><p>Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards.</p></li><li><p>Aids in identifying methods of improving patient care.</p></li><li><p>Assists or leads in emergency situations.</p></li><li><p>Maintains a clean, well-stocked patient care area, observing aseptic techniques and other regulatory mandates, i.e. OSHA, CLIA, etc.</p></li><li><p>Maintains confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPPA.</p></li><li><p>Routes billing information as appropriate.</p></li></ul><p></p><div><div><p><b><span><span>HIGHLIGHTS</span><span> </span><span>AND</span><span> </span><span>BENEFITS</span><span>:</span></span><span> </span></b></p></div><div><p><span><span>When Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.</span><span> We foster personal and professional growth and offer opportunities that empower our colleagues to develop their careers.</span><span> Our belief in work-life balance compliments the natural beauty</sp
