In this dynamic role, you will serve as a key liaison between cross-functional teams—including the Value Stream, project engineering, and casting technology—to ensure alignment and support of plant output. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risks, driving cost-saving opportunities, supporting supplier transitions, resolving technical inquiries, while maintaining rigorous quality standards and project profitability. Adaptive communication skills, technical proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and the ability to coordinate complex engineering changes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment are foundational for success in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as a product engineering focal, liaising between the Value Stream, project teams, and casting technology / producibility as necessary to support plant output.

  • Resolve Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) by providing clarifications and processing Change Requests (CRs).

  • Manage piece part supplier transitions.

  • Pursue cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.

  • Consolidate and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project.

  • Support Quality investigations as necessary when piece-part issues affect product deliveries.

  • Verify internal processes are being executed to reduce the probability of engineering turn-backs.

  • Read and interpret drawings, provide mark ups, and coordinate drawing changes.
