Non-Tenure: Clinical Faculty

The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position with an 11-month academic appointment starting in Fall 2026. Applicants will be considered for the title of Clinical Faculty. Responsibilities include clinic and didactic restorative dentistry training to residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program: supervision of clinical treatment of patients within the parameters listed on accepted treatment plans, participation in didactic instruction based on areas of expertise, and performance of other duties as assigned by the Program Director. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching and service.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a DMD degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school
• Be eligible for licensure in Texas.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD)
• Candidate should have 3 or more years of experience in all fields of general dentistry, have strong clinical skills, a strong background in clinical practice and be familiar with current dental technologies, including delivering CEREC crowns with precision.
• Candidate must be familiar with the latest technology in dentistry, including delivering CEREC crowns with precision.
• Demonstrated experience in academic leadership and graduate dental education.
