Job Role: Associate Tech Support Analyst

Location: Elk River, MN (Onsite position from Day 1 )

Long Term Contract - (Night Shift)

Job Description

• Exposure to, or experience with, hands-on data center server room environment activities such as installation and decommission activities.
• Microsoft Outlook - must be able to manage emails and calendar
• Microsoft Excel - must be able to do data entry, sort and filter
• Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work within confined spaces and while standing/kneeling/sitting for extended periods
• Must be able to travel up to 25% locally
• Must be able to commit to one week on-call rotation schedule

Skills

Registered Unlicensed or PLT status with state of MN (low voltage)

• 1-3+ years’ experience performing cable installation and decommission activities within a data center/server room environment
• 1-3+ years’ experience performing device installation and decommission activities within a data center/server room environment
• 1-3+ years’ experience performing data center/server room environment auditing activities

Responsibilities

• Device decom power disconnects, Device decom removals, Cabling decom disconnects, Cabling decom removals, Cabling installs, Incident support, Auditing and labeling, Be part of an On Call rotation, support complicated cutovers and assist with power redundancy tests.
• Previous Data Center experience with Installations and decommissioning of Hardware and cabling

Education

High School Diploma/GED
