Physician - Hospitalist - Nocturnist - University City

Carolinas Hospitalist Group - University City is actively recruiting a dynamic Hospitalist Physician to join their team that consists of 12 physicians and 4 APPS.

About the position:

100% adult medicine

Work schedule from 7 pm. to 7 a.m.

No on call 

18 rounding encounters + 2-3 rounds with APP

Who you are:

Board certified or eligible MD/DO

Licensed in North Carolina or willingness to become licensed

Education, Experience and Certification:

Degree of MD or DO from accredited medical school

Board Eligibility in a clinical discipline is required; Board Certification in a clinical discipline is required within three years of start date/contract effective date; Once obtained, Maintenance of Certification is required

PATIENT POPULATION SERVED:

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to age specific issues and data reflective of the patient’s status.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the following age groups:

·        Neonate

·        Infant

·        Child

·        Adolescent

·        Adult

·        Geriatric
