About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join the Commercial Banking Chief of Staff team. The Chief of Staff team supports the CEO of Commercial Banking and the rest of the Commercial Banking leadership team in the definition and execution of CB's strategy, management of day-to-day business operations, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. The team also leads important strategic initiatives that are critical to Commercial Banking's business priorities.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development of presentations - related to Commercial Banking's business activity and strategy - for the senior executive leadership team, including the Wells Fargo Operating Committee, Commercial Banking CEO, and Commercial Banking leadership team
- Prepare briefing materials for the Commercial Banking CEO in advance of key meetings, presentations, and internal and external stakeholder engagements
- Drive and/or support key initiatives within Commercial Banking that require strong analytical skills, knowledge of the Commercial Banking business, and experience delivering solutions that serve multiple interested parties
- Identify, develop, and help implement solutions that improve internal Commercial Banking processes related to leadership routines and decision-making
- Serve as an advisor to Commercial Banking leadership to ensure consistency of strategy and messaging across Commercial Banking businesses and support functions
- Lead team meetings or steering committees to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans
- Partner closely with Commercial Banking cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Business Management, Reporting and Insights, Sales, Strategy, and Independent Risk Management to execute priority work
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking, and/or asset management
- Experience leading projects or workstreams in fast-paced environments that involve multiple stakeholders and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive the production of a deliverable
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including significant prior experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint and demonstrated ability to seamlessly engage with "big picture" thinking while embracing detailed analysis
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, including the ability to maintain top- quality work while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus
- Sense of urgency, passion for results, resourcefulness, and personal accountability for achievement
- Previous experience in and/or knowledge and understanding of Commercial Banking lines of business and financial drivers of commercial banking business models, or a demonstrated track record of being able to develop expertise in new topics quickly

Base Compensation Range:
$133,300 - $237,100 USD Annual
Eligible for discretionary annual bonus
