WHO YOU ARE
Are you a mid-level human resources professional with a passion for helping people as part of a highly collaborative, service-oriented team? Are you driven by providing excellent customer service through the research and implementation of new total rewards programs and the maintenance and improvement of existing programs? If the answer is yes, and you have excellent and proven communication, organization, and analytical skills, this could be the perfect role for you! BENlabs is seeking a Senior Manager, Total Rewards, with a focus in and a passion for total rewards that include compensation, health and welfare benefits, retirement planning, perks and incentives, wellness, and providing our team members with a healthy and fun work environment. Our Senior Manager, Total Rewards, will work strategically with other areas of Human Resources and the Business to develop best-in-class offerings in each of these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and develop benefits strategies and collaborates with stakeholders to implement, sustain, and enhance.
  • Develops benefits plans and programs to attract, engage, and retain key talent. Maintains these programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and relevance.
  • Work with Compensation Consultant to develop and enact compensation plans and strategies.
  • Develops key decision-driving collaterals for the executive leadership team.
  • Involvement with compensation processes across the organizations, such as the annual merit, bonus, and equity grant programs, spanning the forecasting and planning through communication to employees. Partners with internal stakeholders to effectively plan for key deliverables and communicate changes in real time.
  • Responsible for major benefits processes across the organization, such as health and welfare plans, leave administration, 401(k) and equivalent global programs, BEN perks and incentives, wellness, and compliance-related matters.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to provide compensation and benefits-related information and guidance on resource planning and accruals.
  • Consults with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on requests.
  • Ensures consistent application of compensation and benefits programs throughout the global organization.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of compensation and benefits information in HR systems.
  • Oversees leave administration
  • Work closely with Payroll Manager on issues arising domestically and internationally.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of total rewards experience
  • 3+ years of benefits administration experience 
  • 2+ years of payroll administration
  • Strong understanding of human resources principles and functions 
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations, along with filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, ACA, etc.
  • Experience in compensation and wage structure 
  • Understanding of employee classifications
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and analytical skills
  • Deep knowledge of payroll operations, both domestic and international
  • Extensive knowledge of state laws and regulations, especially related to compensation and leaves of absence
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
