HR Intern, Graduate

Compensation: $30.00 per hour.

JOB OVERVIEW

Our Graduate Summer Internship Program is designed for driven individuals seeking to deepen their expertise, tackle meaningful projects, and gain invaluable professional exposure within the dynamic world of genetics.

Throughout the program, you’ll work on impactful, resume-level projects that align with your skills and career goals, providing you with hands-on experience that translates directly into future opportunities. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll explore real-world applications of advanced concepts, gaining insights and knowledge that will set you apart in your field.  Some of the projects that you will lead/participate in during your internship that will enable you to have this experience, include: 

• Performance competency framework development 
• Company-wide individual career development initiative 
• Employee retention and engagement projects

JOB SPECIFICATIONS  

II. EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:  

• Must be currently enrolled in graduate program with an accredited college/university 
• MBA student preferred with specialization in human resources 

III. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Skill, Abilities and Capabilities):  

• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written communication.   
• Proven experience in cross-functional and interdepartmental collaboration.   
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting objectives.   
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on critical thinking and innovation. 
• Proficiency with using PowerPoint to create training and/or company communications 
• Strong understanding of performance management frameworks and practices 

IV. EXPERIENCE:  

• Previous HR experience preferred, with exposure to onboarding process, performance management, and/or employee engagement initiatives a plus
