The Health Equity Director is a key leader within Teladoc Health reporting directly to the Chief Health Equity Officer. This role is responsible for advancing our commitment to delivering equitable access, experiences, and clinical outcomes for all. Working with a cross-sectional group of clinical, commercial, product, analytics, and technology stakeholders, the Health Equity Director will serve as the day-to-day leader responsible for ensuring key initiatives progress on time, within budget, and meet their intended goals for impact.

The ideal candidate will have a background in program management, experience delivering health equity or population health related results in a healthcare setting, and a proven ability to lead in a matrixed environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the CHEO to implement Teladoc’s Health Equity and Social Drivers of Health strategy.

• Design initiatives aimed at ensuring equitable access, experiences, and clinical outcomes across all Teladoc Health products and services.

• Lead cross-functional stakeholders to execute on enterprise health equity priorities and initiatives while positioning the company to deliver effectively on population health management.

• Oversee the Enterprise Health Equity Data Governance Group responsible for analyzing health equity measures and monitoring and evaluating health equity initiatives.

• Develop and operationalize a system to triage, monitor, and manage internal and external requests of the health equity team.

• Support the CHEO with organizational, strategic, and financial planning and reporting.

• Support building internal fluency around Health Equity, Social Drivers of Health, and related concepts and how they impact business imperatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field is required.  

• 7+ years of experience, developing  and implementing health equity or population health related initiatives in the healthcare industry.

• Experience in digital health is highly valued.

• Expertise in quality improvement and implementation science highly valued

• Commitment to health equity and making meaningful and measurable improvements in healthcare.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and budgeting skills

• Ability to lead and influence diverse teams and stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
