About the job :

Join an exciting international project within the United Nations system as a SAP Senior Finance Consultant. You’ll play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and reshaping financial and budgetary processes within a large-scale ERP environment. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful digital transformation initiatives that support global development goals, while collaborating with multicultural teams across borders.

The position is remote (nearshore), with occasional travel to Bonn, Germany. If you're an SAP expert passionate about improving finance operations in complex international settings, we’d love to hear from you.

📍 Remote role with 3 planned travels (1 week each) to Bonn, Germany

Responsibilities:  

• Lead the assessment of the current SAP system usage
• Conduct gap analysis aligned with the goal of implementing an integrated budget
• Propose technical solutions: optimization, customization or alternative ERP options
• Analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements
• Identify, document, and validate customer needs
• Design and document SAP FI/CO modules and their integration
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Supervise the implementation of the financial solution and ensure functional coherence across SAP modules
• Bring expertise in Bank Communication Management and international payment processes (XML format)  

What we are looking for:

• 15+ years of experience in international, complex SAP implementations
• Strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO), budget management, and ERP integrations
• Previous experience with UN or similar international institutions is a plus
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to draft clear documentation and analytical reports
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Strong team collaboration and conflict management skills
• SAP FI/CO certification (nice to have)
• Fluent in English (mandatory); German is a plus
