Working closely with the People MD Ireland and other senior leaders in the Dublin office, this is a new role embedded within the One Firm People Team, situated in Dublin, and providing support to the employee groups in both Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
Reporting into the Chief People Officer and working alongside the Head of Talent Acquisition and Head of L&D, this position will play a vital role in the Dublin & Belfast teams’ development of its People service.
You will provide your client group with high quality HR advice and support, anticipating future needs and ensuring the company meets the needs of all colleagues while adhering to best practice and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business
- Management of employee relations and other employee-related matters escalating any matters to Senior HRBP or CPO.
- Supporting the development and delivery of continuous performance management processes to create a high-performance culture.
- Supporting the graduate intake coordinating and managing exam preparation and process
- Coordinating local training initiatives and tracking CPD in conjunction with the L&D team
- Working alongside the Head of Talent Acquisition to coordinate interviews and assist in hiring local and supporting with onboarding.
- Responsible for working with central Finance team to prepare hiring budgets for the Irish offices annually as part of the annual Finance led budgeting process.
- Liaising with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland to enhance our Graduate program so that we can recruit the highest standard of trainee accountants.
- Consider market practice within other professional advisory firms to ensure that Interpath can attract and retain the best professionals in our field.
Requirements
- Experience operating at Senior HR Advisor or Business Partner level, managing senior level stakeholders.
- Experience in a Professional Services environment, ideally Consultancy.
- Strong commercial skills and a desire to act as a commercial partner to the business.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels.
- Ability to manage client group autonomously.
- Effective problem solving and facilitation skills.
- A credible and influential communicator.
- Confidence to challenge senior stakeholders as appropriate and when necessary.
- Experience of working on change and project related activity.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (such as Workable, Workday, Greenhouse or similar)
- Hybrid working – with 2 to 3 days in the office, subject to business needs.
