We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. This leader will drive programs that empower and support global communities to participate in the digital economy, inspire employees and customers, and build meaningful community engagement. With a focus on world-class employee engagement, customer engagement, and sustainability efforts, this role will also help protect and enhance PayPal’s reputation as a purpose-driven company.

We're looking for a Senior Director, Social Impact & Sustainability to lead the team that oversees strategic initiatives creating positive social and environmental impact through external partnerships and internal collaboration. This leader will drive programs that empower and support global communities to participate in the digital economy, inspire employees and customers, and build meaningful community engagement. With a focus on world-class employee engagement, customer engagement, and sustainability efforts, this role will also help protect and enhance PayPal’s reputation as a purpose-driven company. By aligning impact efforts with our business strategy, this leader will play a key role in advancing PayPal’s long-term success and commitment to responsible, inclusive growth. This individual will be a member of the Corporate Affairs Leadership Team and will report directly to the Chief Corporate Affairs & Communications Officer.  

 

Roles and Responsibilities 

Social Impact 

• Drive PayPal’s leadership in small business empowerment and inclusive economic growth through strategic social and environmental initiatives. Empower the team to deliver against PayPal’s impact strategy. 

• Oversee enterprise-wide Charitable Contributions Policy and all charitable giving from the company and develop grant activations/announcement strate
