We are looking for a Budget and Planning Manager to join the Hill's Division finance team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be the coordination of annual budgets, monthly rolling estimates, and latest estimates for the Hill's Division. You'll provide financial guidance for planning and ensuring that estimates are submitted accurately and on time. You'll assist with all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements and work closely with the Division Budget and Planning and Accounting teams to understand variances in these reports. You'll build strong working relationships with regional Finance leads to establish and implement best practices for planning and reporting. Lastly, you'll support the Hill's Leadership Team through review and analysis of the subsidaries' financial estimates.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning
- Coordinate all monthly, quarterly, and annual finance estimates
- Handle the preparation of various financial exhibits (P&L, Balance Sheet, Net Working Capital, Margin roll-forwards)
- Serve as the Division lead for financial planning systems and tools
- Reporting
- Manage the monthly reporting package for review of month-end results by subsidiary
- Prepare and present monthly net sales report by subsidiary and brand for Senior Leadership
- Prepare monthly Division Leadership meeting presentations for bsuiness updates on results vs. PY and latest estimates
- Submit quarterly report of actual results by subsidiary with P&L reporting vs. PY and latest estimates
- Lead preparation of all business update presentations for Colgate leadership
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 8 years of diversified Finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Suite (Sheet, Slides, and Docs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate Degree or CPA
- International Finance experience
- Experience with SAP
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $102,400.00 - $151,200.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
