Job Title: Lead Analyst, Anesthesia Cash Posting
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid, requiring 2 to 3 days in the office
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Lead Analyst to join our team as the Lead Analyst, Anesthesia Cash Posting.
The Lead Analyst, Anesthesia Cash Posting is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cash posting team. This role ensures that all anesthesia-related payments are processed accurately and efficiently. The Lead Analyst will work closely with both the billing and collections departments to ensure all postings are reconciled and any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the anesthesia cash posting team, ensuring accurate and timely payment posting.
- Reconcile cash postings with bank deposits and billing records, resolving discrepancies and credit balances.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for cash posting activities.
- Provide training, support, and performance monitoring for cash posting team members.
- Collaborate with billing and collections departments to enhance processes, ensure compliance, and meet productivity targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required. An associate degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare medical billing or cash posting, with at least a year of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in medical billing software systems, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional oral and written communication skills with all internal and external audiences.
- Ability to organize and manage personal workload. Ability to achieve and maintain strong working knowledge of anesthesia billing operation practices. Ability to develop and execute process improvement plans
