Administrative House Supervisor- Nights

Short Description for Internal Candidates     The House Supervisor for Nursing Services will provide leadership for nursing areas during after hours and weekends. Key responsibilities include frequent rounds in each unit, review of staffing for next shift in concert with changing census and acuity factors, auditing compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting staff with policy/procedure issues which arise during the shift.   Qualifications: A. Education 1. Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nurses 2. BSN preferred   B. Experience 1. Minimum of 2 years experience as a clinical nurse 2. Experience as a Charge RN for a minimum of 1 year is desirable   C. Licensure/Certification 1. Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia

Floyd Medical Center is a 304-bed, full-service hospital located in Rome, Georgia. Serving as the main campus for Atrium Health Floyd, the hospital contains a certified Chest Pain Center, designated Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. 

Floyd Medical Center is also home to a state-designated Level II Trauma Center, a behavioral health center, specialty centers for pediatrics, wound care, and hyperbaric therapy. It houses primary care and urgent care networks of providers and hosts a realm of outpatient services, including the operation of the Floyd County Clinic and an associated pharmacy for uninsured patients.
