Business System Analyst (HEDIS)
Location: East Windsor, New Jersey
Experience: 7 Years
Job Description
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst primarily with the US healthcare client and Healthcare IT projects
- In depth Knowledge on Clinical data sources E.g. EDI, ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, 837I, 837P, CCDA, QRDA, HL7, FHIR, EMR
- Understanding different HIPAA measures (ECQM / HEDIS / HCPCS/DSRIP / MIPS etc)
- In depth Knowledge on Payer data sources (member/enrollment, Claims, Revenue etc)
- Conduct internal and client UAT sessions before release
- Work with business stakeholders and decision makers to gather and define business and functional requirements, and technical specification.
- Create detailed documentation of features and functions
- Define processes and workflows to improve product development activities
- Feed Analysis, technical Documentation and Feed Specification document
- Ability to understand and develop data mapping documents, Technical Documentation and Specification document
- Experience with defining test cases and test scripts
- Collaborate in the planning and design of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
Required Skill Set
- Graduate or Post graduate in Health and Hospital management / health administration / Biotechnology / Pharmacy.
- Knowledge about clinical quality measures is a must such eCQMS, HEDIS, PDI, PQI etc.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously managing multiple assignments
- Data analysis and SQL knowledge is required
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical terms
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
Good to have:
- Must have any one US Gov Program Quality Reporting experience.
- VBP knowledge is preferred
Qualifications
Graduation / post-graduation in health and hospital management / Pharmacy / health administration or any related health care stream
