As an Operations Production Support Specialist (F) within PNC's Investment Operations organization, you will be based remotely in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Houston, TX.

This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint.

The candidate is required to obtain FINRA SIE and Series 99 licenses within 120 days of hire. Series 7, 24, or 27 licenses can be used in lieu of Series 99 License.

As an Operations Production Support Specialist (F), you will be part of a successful and growing Operations organization. Our group is responsible for processing trades as well as initiating and investigating payment issues. We work with internal service partners, external clients, Front Office Sales & Trading personnel to resolve issues and problems that arise. Our workflows have both automated and manual processes as well as unique complexities and intra-day and end-of-day deadlines. As a senior member of the team, you will also be responsible for reviewing and approving the work of others. Finally, you will also actively participate in Operations projects focused on process efficiency and system enhancements.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in Financial Services required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop expertise in products and activities within scope.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with traders, salespeople and counterparties/clients.
• Dedicated to not only meeting, but also exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Highly accurate and detail oriented.
• Organized and able to perform very well in a high volume, deadline-driven trading environment.
• Working knowledge of systems and automated processes including trading systems, spreadsheets and word processing applications.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Consistently proactive and focused on providing value-added service.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop expertise in products and activities within scope.
• Able to address and manage very specific trade nuances as needed.
• FINRA Series 99 License required or must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Job Description

  • Leads a critical operational support service, process, capability or initiative within an operational unit and ensures performance and/or risk indicators are met.
  • Establishes and monitors process performance measurements and business impact. Gathers and communicates performance statistics and reports to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Promotes and monitors the production workflow and assists team members with escalated process issues. Independently identifies and resolves exceptions and serves as a point of escalation.
  • Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of production and/or process. Determines and/or drives change and improvement efforts in production and/or processes.
  • Ensures the business adheres to policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Independently resolves compliance issues and drives risk mitigation activities.
