The Senior Subscriber Engagement Strategist is responsible for driving engagement, preference, and habit formation for new subscribers, thereby laying the groundwork for long-term retention. Using innovative, data-driven strategies informed by segmentation and analytics, this role thoughtfully designs personalized subscriber journeys and collaborates across teams to optimize the new subscriber experience and drive business outcomes. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Subscriber Engagement Strategy, the Senior Subscriber Engagement Strategist will help shape the future of subscriber engagement and ensure the sustained growth and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Define customer engagement strategies targeting new subscribers across products, and channels for new subscribers
• Translate customer segmentation insights into personalized, multi-channel subscriber journeys that drive early engagement and habit formation
• Create and deliver insightful analyses that inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate closely with content, analytics, product, and marketing partners to implement engagement initiatives.
• Lead test-and-learn strategies, applying insights to continuously refine subscriber engagement tactics.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on subscriber engagement, retention, and customer lifecycle management for subscription-based businesses
• Demonstrated proficiency with personalization and segmentation platforms (e.g., email, app, on-site, CDP/CRM)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Google Analytics
• Excellent strategic thinker with experience creating concise, strategic presentations and briefs to clearly communicate strategies and results
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills
• A self-starter capable of developing thoughtful strategies and effectively influencing cross-functional stakeholders
• High ethics and integrity

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $80,000 and $90,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
