Part-Time Team Leader

Here at UPP we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Cleaning Team in Oxford.

This is a temporary, part- time position, working 30 hours per week from 08:00 to 14:30 Monday to Friday for three months. The hourly rate is £14.25.

You will manage cleaning services, ensuring adherence to the stipulated Service Level Agreement.

• The role will be a working Supervisor, to also support some of the cleaning required.  
• The role 30 hours per week will be divided between supervising the team, day-to-day HR processes, cleaning audits and checks, and supporting cleaning delivery where there are absences. 

Role responsibilities include:

• Plan housekeeping and domestic services, general management, and administrative and control procedures
• Supervise the work of all housekeeping and domestic service staff to ensure high standards are met
• Maintain accurate information on costs incurred on housekeeping and cleaning activities
• Regular review of existing procedures in order to increase efficiencies and improve service standards
• Respond to student complaints within the agreed time scales
• Manage and train all relevant staff
• Identify training and development needs
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and policies
• Provide cover for members cleaning when required.

We are looking for you to have worked in a similar role and environment with supervisory experience and have great communication and organisation skills, along with an attention to detail and the passion to ensure your team always does an excellent job.

The ability to regularly climb multiple flights of stairs is essential for this role.

You will also be flexible to work (with notice) additional hours when the needed.
