TITLE: Product Specialist
STATUS: Full-Time, Regular
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly; FLSA Non-Exempt
WORK HOURS: Varies According to Business Need
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager
SALARY: $40k-100k+ Annually



POSITION SUMMARY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Welcome clients arriving at the dealership.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all clients.
  • Demonstrate the dealership’s vehicle and explain their features and warranties to customers.
  • Respond to client’s vehicle inquiries, purchase process including financing.
  • Accompany clients on test drives.
  • Assist clients to find a suited vehicle according to their needs and price range.
  • Negotiate car prices and trade – in values for client’s vehicle.
  • Determine client’s financing and ownership options with Finance department.
  • May assist also on client’s loan approval.
  • Perform after sales service on past clients ensuring satisfaction on purchased vehicle.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have a clear Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Able to carefully deal with confidential information.
  • Professional and dependable
  • Computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional clients service skills including internal communication.

Education:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent

Time Keeping Requirements:
  • This position is expected to clock in and out for each work shift.  There is also an expectation to take a minimum of 30 minutes unpaid meal break before the 5th hour of each shift.  If working more than 12 hours in a day, an additional 30-minute unpaid meal break when working more than 12 hours in a day.  The second meal break must be taken before the 10th hour in each 12-hour shift.
