How you'll make a difference?

 The Senior Manager, HRIS and HR Operations, will lead and oversee the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system and HR operational processes. This role is critical to ensuring efficient HR service delivery, data integrity, compliance, and driving HR technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

Workday Management & Optimization:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of Workday HCM modules, including core HR, talent management, payroll interface, absence management, benefits, and compensation.

  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, and internal stakeholders to implement system enhancements, break/fix, upgrades, and integrations.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Workday-related issues, system changes, and business process improvements.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within Workday.

  • Develop and maintain Workday documentation, training materials, and user guides.

HR Operations Leadership:

  • Oversee daily HR operations including employee lifecycle management, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance reporting.

  • Lead a team of HR operations specialists, providing coaching, development, and performance management.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline HR workflows and improve employee experience.

  • Partner with HR business partners and functional leaders to align HR operational strategies with business needs.

  • Manage vendor relationships related to HR operations and technology.

Strategic Initiatives & Reporting:

    • Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and support decision-making.

    • Lead projects related to HR system implementations, upgrades, and new functionality rollouts.

    • Ensure HR policies and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

    • Support organizational change management related to HR systems and processes.

    What skills and experience will you need?

    The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, information systems, or related field.

    • 7+ years of experience in HR operations and/or HRIS management

    • Strong expertise in Workday HCM, including configuration, reporting, and integrations.

    • Proven experience leading HR operational teams and driving process improvements.

    • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employment laws.

    • Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

    • Workday Certification (HCM, Reporting, or Integration, etc).

    • Experience with payroll systems and benefits administration.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
