Position Description:

Part-time Lecturer to teach primarily Cardinal Core courses in the Department of Comparative Humanities. Possible courses to teach would include Hum 105-Humanities in Global Cultures; Hum 152-Cultures of America; Hum 216-Introduction to World Religions; Hum 224-Introduction to Film Studies.

Instructors are expected to utilize Blackboard to submit course syllabus, order textbooks or other reading materials, provide developmentally meaningful feedback, present engaging learning experiences, respond to students in a timely manner, communicate regularly with designated academic program director, submit final grades within university deadlines, and comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer, such as completing an attestation disclosure form, along with completing annual evaluations.
 

Qualifications:

M.A. required. Ph.D. and previous teaching experience preferred.


Salary: Salary based on a per credit hour value of course taught (Typically a 3-credit hour course)
