Product at Crunchbase:

The Crunchbase Product team is responsible for owning and executing the vision of the Crunchbase platform, and the creation of new products that provide our users with various mechanisms to access our data.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Management Intern to join our team for a short-term assignment with the possibility of extension. This intern will play a crucial role in shaping our API strategy while gaining valuable insights into our sales tax compliance plan. The intern will report directly to the Chief Product Officer to help drive key initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product management team to develop and execute the API strategy for our enterprise API packages.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape related to API solutions.
• Assist in defining product requirements, features, and functionalities based on market demands and customer feedback.
• Assist in the creation of sales and marketing collateral, including presentations, datasheets, and whitepapers, to support API package offerings.
• Take a refresher course on our sales tax compliance plan, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and our approach to compliance.
• Support the Chief Product Officer in various product-related tasks and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong interest in product management, technology, and innovation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Prior experience or coursework in product management, software development, or sales tax compliance is desirable but not required.

Internship Details:

• Term: May 14th to June 14th, with the possibility of extension.
• Hours: 8 hours per week.
• Compensation: $30-50/hr
