Licensed Practical Nurse - UI Health Care Sioux City Family Medicine 50-100%

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 50% - 100% (20 - 40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UI Health Care Sioux City Family Medicine. This position supports our Family Medicine Clinic where you’ll spend more time with patients and expand your physician-support and administrative duties, increasing the efficiency and productivity of the physician and anticipating future needs to facilitate the flow of the clinic.

Duties to include:

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards
