Job Description Summary:
PayPal’s Cyber & Information Security (PCIS) team is looking for self-driven, detail-oriented Information Security interns who be aligned to specific security and risk teams. With access to cutting-edge technologies and resources, you will stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.As an intern in the PCIS Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) organization, accountable to the CISO, you will join a diverse and collaborative organization that works together to guide PayPal’s management of cyber and information security risks across the company, support compliance with evolving technology regulations and standards, and drive sound technology decision-making in support of the company’s mission and objectives.
We are looking for candidates with the potential to have an immediate and lasting impact on PayPal’s security culture. Individuals who are a great fit for this role will have a balance of technical security knowledge, well-honed communication / writing abilities, and strategic / analytical skills.

Responsibilities will be tailored based on your interest and experience. Your day-to-day role may include:
- Understand and apply the enterprise policies, standards and framework for governance, risk, and compliance.
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity issues that may impact PayPal’s strategy and policy, and present key findings and recommendations
- Participate in the development and execution of cybersecurity policy and strategy guidance, communications, and engagements
- Develop and support the dissemination of cybersecurity strategic messaging to external audiences.
